Just Visiting

“Are you boys ready yet?” Owen shouted up the stairs to his sons. “We’re only going away for one night, so pack light.”

Owen and Lily agreed that a move to Cockaigne would be the best decision for the family. But their sons were still undecided. They knew Finn would agree, and his face lit up when they explained to the boys what the town was like and how he could be naked anywhere. Max was more cautious, worried he would be the only person he remained clothed. But their Dad explained it was optional, and not everyone went naked.

This weekend, they were going to stay in Cockaigne. Owen had booked a hotel so they could experience a couple of days in the town. Max immediately asked if James could come too. He hated to be away from James, and the weekend was the only time they could spend together. Max pouted when they said it would be best if he didn’t. Owen had only managed to book a family room in the B&B as it was full.

Finn ran downstairs, naked, carrying his backpack. He threw the full backpack by the front door and went into the kitchen to get some breakfast.

“We told you to get ready!” Lily was surprised he wasn’t dressed.

“I am ready, Mum,” Finn said innocently.

“You’re not going like that. Once in Cockaigne, we can’t stop you, but you are not going naked. If anyone notices, then we’ll be in big trouble.” Lily told her thirteen-year-old son.

“Okay, Mum.” Finn slinked back upstairs to put some clothes on. He passed Max on the stairs, dressed in jeans and a stylish t-shirt.

“Finn thinks he’s there already,” Max told his Mum when he entered the kitchen. “I did tell him, but you know Finn, he never listens.”

“Sit down, Max. I want a word.” They sat across each other at the kitchen table.

“Although Finn hasn’t said he’ll move, I don’t doubt that he will. He loves being naked, and Cockaigne will allow him to pursue his nude lifestyle without shame or ridicule.”

“I know, Mum.” Max looked at his clasped hands on the tabletop.

“So that means it will be your decision. Your Dad and I think moving is a good idea, but I don’t want you to feel pressured into agreeing just because we all want to move.” Lily reached and held Max’s clutched hands. “we will respect your decision. I’ve spoken to your Dad, and he says that if you don’t want to move to Cockaigne, we won’t. You’re fourteen, Max. Nearly fifteen. You’re old enough to have a say. But just tell me that being with James won’t be the only reason you say no. We will make it work. He will not be a stranger, and your Dad says he’ll happily take you to see him. And…” Lily blushed, “We talked and agreed to allow sleepovers, but only if his parents agree.”

“Thanks, Mum.” Max looked into his Mum’s eyes, “I do love him, Mum.”

Lily smiled, “I know, Max. And your Dad and I will do anything we can to keep you together.”

Their conversation was disrupted by Finn bounding back into the kitchen. He was now wearing his grey joggers and a t-shirt.

“Is that the best you can do, Finn. Look at your brother,” Lily gestured to Max, “look how smart he looks.”

“Max can be a dweeb. I want to feel comfortable. Look, I’m not wearing any underpants.” Finn pulled down the front of his grey joggers and exposed his cock and balls to him, Mum and Max.

“Put it away,” Lily laughed. “Wait until we get to Cockaigne.”

“Mum,” Max smiled, “I promise that James won’t be the only reason if I decide not to move to Cockaigne. Seeing Finn naked twenty-four hours a day will also be a massive consideration.”

Finn pretended to pout while Max and Lily laughed.

“I know what you mean, Max. I’m not sure I can get used to seeing that little thing flapping around all day.” Lily chuckled.

“Hey, Mum.” Finn pulled down the front of his grey joggers again, “not so little anymore.”

“Put it away!” Max and Lily said in unison.

Owen struggled down the stairs with a heavy suitcase. “Are you sure you need all this stuff, Honey?” He shouted. “I said we should travel light. It’s only a two-hour drive and two nights, not a fortnight’s holiday.”

Lily left the kitchen, “I need to be prepared for any eventuality. You may want to take me to a fancy restaurant. If you do, I need something nice to wear.”

“Trust me, Sweetie, that isn’t going to happen. It’s a family room, remember.”

Lily kissed Owen on the cheek, “But I’m sure the boys could entertain themselves in the evening. They’re old enough to be trusted.”

“Max is. Not sure about Finn.”

“I heard that, Dad!” Finn shouted from the kitchen.

“You were meant to, you cheeky monkey.” Owen chuckled and struggled out the front door to load the luggage into the car.

Owen came in and sat at the table with his sons. Lily placed a mug of coffee in front of him. The boys ate their cereal as Lily made some toast.

“Are you boys looking forward to this weekend?” Owen asked as he slurped his coffee.

“I can’t wait to get naked.” Finn was excited, “I wonder if many other people will be naked. I can’t wait to see. I wonder if the kids go naked.”

“It’s all sorts. It depends on the weather, but even when it’s cold, you still get some that are still naked. A few times, I’ve seen people having sex in the park, which surprised me, but I didn’t watch. I just kept walking.”

“I can’t wait.” Finn bounced up and down on his chair.

“What about you, Max. Are you looking forward to it?” Owen asked.

“I’m nervous, to be honest,” Max admitted.

“It’s just a normal town, but some people might be naked. Other than that, it’s perfectly normal. They do exactly what we do. Go to the shops, supermarket, play in the park, watch a rugby match. They’ve got a good rugby team, Max. In fact, there is a game tomorrow. If you feel like it, we could go. Your Mum and Finn can spend the day at the shopping centre.”

“What if I want to watch the match?” Finn pouted.

“That’ll depend on your mother.”

Lily ruffled Finn’s hair, “We’ll see. It depends on how we all feel in the morning. We all may want to do something else.”

“Muum!” Finn squirmed.

Max got up to get a couple of glasses of orange juice. As he sat down, he handed a glass to Finn. Lily left Finn alone and buttered some toast for Owen.

Finn smiled at Max. He could tell that he was nervous.

“As soon as your Dad has finished his breakfast, we’re off. So make sure you have everything you need.” Lily told the boys.

Finn got up to check his backpack. “Max! We don’t have the washbag.” Finn called to his brother.

“It’s in the bathroom. We still need to clean our teeth.” Max said as he approached.

Max started to climb the stairs, and Finn followed.

The brothers leant over the sink and brushed their teeth, their heads almost touching. Finn rinsed his mouth and spat out the water.

“It feels odd not being naked with you as we brush our teeth,” Finn commented.

“I’m worried about tonight,” Max admitted. “We’ve never slept in the same room as Mum and Dad before.”

“Well, I’m sleeping naked, like I always do,” Finn said proudly. “I think you should too.”

“I’m going to. I’ve not packed any pyjamas.”

Finn smiled at his older brother, “It’s going to be alright.” He hugged him. “Don’t feel any pressure. This trip is for all of us to be sure it’s what we want. I know everyone thinks I will love the place, but I might not. And like you, I’ll be leaving friends behind.”

Max smiled, comforted that he wasn’t the only one worried about a potential move.

“We’ll have to move school and have to make new friends. I’ve seen it when new kids start halfway through the year at our school. Some find it hard to make friends. But at least we’d have each other.”

The brothers smiled at each other.

“Thanks, Min.”

Finn put their toothbrushes into the washbag, along with the half-empty tube of toothpaste.

As they came downstairs, they saw their Dad. “I was just coming to tell you that we’re ready.”

Finn stuffed their washbag into his backpack and handed it to his Dad. “All ready, Dad.” Finn smiled.

“You can put that in the car yourself,” Dad told Finn. “Now get in the car, boys.”

The house was locked up, and they were finally on their way. Max was silent, but his eyes were constantly cast downwards as he looked at the screen of his smartphone, reading and answering the messages from James.

“So what’re we going to do when we get there?” Finn asked as he poked his head between the two front sheets and accidentally nudged Max.

“First of all, we need to get you boys registered for a visitor permit. As I work there, I already have one, and we’ve already sorted your Mum out. Hopefully, it won’t be busy, then we can get to the B&B.”

“What’s the B&B like, Dad?” Finn asked.

“No idea. It’s not cheap, but we couldn’t afford the hotel, not even in a family room. It’s run by a married couple.” Owen smiled. He didn’t know whether to tell them the name of the B&B now or let it be a surprise when they arrived.”

“What’s so funny, Dad?” Finn noticed the grin.

“It’s run by a married gay couple. I met Mr Bell when I booked the room, he’s very nice. Young and excited to meet some potential new residents. I didn’t meet his husband, Mr End, but he says he’ll give us a warm welcome.” Owen waited for the names to sink in.

“Tell me they didn’t hyphenate when they married?” Finn laughed and nudged his brother, who looked up from his smartphone and the latest message from James. “Did you get that, Max?”

Max rolled his eyes.

“Mr Bell and Mr End get married. It’s Mr Bell-End.” Finn continued laughing. “That’s hilarious.”

“Don’t you dare make fun of their names, Finn,” Owen said seriously. “Get it out of your system now. I don’t want you smirking when we arrive at the Bell-End B&B.” Owen tried not to smile, but he couldn’t help himself.

Max busied himself, texting James the name of where they were staying. He couldn’t help but smirk.

“We’re nearly there.” Owen declared to his family. “I can see a sign up ahead.”

Finn poked his head between the gap in the front seats again, looking ahead and watching the sign get closer.

The sign read ‘Welcome to Cockaigne’. Underneath in smaller lettering was the caption, ‘Please respect our Town’. Finn became more excited the closer they got. Eventually, they passed the sign, and they were in Cockaigne. Finn cheered, shocking Max to look away from his smartphone.

Finn sat back on the back seat and started pulling his t-shirt off, “You can’t stop me being naked now.” Finn grinned as he struggled to pull off his sweatpants. He screwed up his clothes and stuffed them in the space between Max and himself.

“Give me those clothes,” Lily sighed and took the balled-up fabric from Finn. She carefully started to fold his clothes.

Finn couldn’t stop smiling as he sat naked in the car, his eyes darted at the surroundings, but no one could be seen. “I can’t see anyone.” He complained.

“We’re still in the outskirts. Just wait until we get to the centre.” Owen frowned, “I’ve got to find the security office first to get your visitor permits.” He glanced at his wife, “Get the map out, Lily.”

“I hope it’s signposted when we get to the centre.” She fiddled with the map.

“I can see people!” Finn said excitedly, “but no one’s naked.” He was disappointed.

“It’s not compulsory. Besides, it’s still early, and there’s still a chill.” Owen explained.

Finn pouted.
