The Dickinsons are a modern family living in Cockaigne, but their three-bedroomed house in Cockaigne, where the family lives, is cramped. Howard is the father of five stepsons, who all sleep in the same room. His two daughters share a second bedroom, while he and his wife sleep in the master bedroom. The five teenage boys have no privacy as they live so close together.
